How GAAPx Resolves Customer Identity
When an executed contract or inbound payment arrives, GAAPx evaluates four matching signals in sequence:
1. Hard Identifiers (Deterministic Match)
- Tax Identification / VAT Number: Unambiguous corporate tax ID matching.
- Corporate Domain: e.g.,
@acme.commatching existing customer domain registries. - CRM Account ID: Exact ID match when synced via native Salesforce / HubSpot connectors.
2. Fuzzy Name & DBA Matching (AI Match)
When legal contract names differ from CRM nicknames (e.g., "Acme Corporation, LLC d/b/a Acme Tech" vs. "Acme Tech" in Salesforce):
- GAAPx applies normalized string distance algorithms combined with LLM semantic validation.
- Identifies known corporate parent-subsidiary trees and DBA aliases.
3. Confirm Customer Exception Queue
Any match score falling between 70% and 89% routes to the Confirm Customer Workbench:
- RevOps or Accounting receives a 1-click confirmation prompt.
- Once approved, the alias is permanently saved to the customer's alias registry, ensuring all future contracts and invoices resolve automatically.
