# Box (Box AI)

**Box Integration with GAAPx** connects enterprise Box repositories directly to the GAAPx contract ingestion engine. Newly uploaded MSAs, Order Forms, and SOWs are automatically detected, extracted via multimodal OCR, and written back with structured **Box AI Metadata Cards**.

## Key Capabilities

* **Automated Folder Watching**: Monitors enterprise folders (e.g. `Box / Sales / Executed Contracts / 2026`) for newly dropped PDFs and scans.
* **Box AI Metadata Writeback**: Writes custom metadata cards (Contract Value, Start/End Dates, Customer ID, ASC 606 Status) directly into Box file properties.
* **Mid-Term Amendment Detection**: Re-indexes renewed or amended contracts uploaded into existing customer folders and links them to the primary MSA.
* **Granular Enterprise Permissions**: Respects Box folder access controls and security classifications (SOC 2, ISO 27001).

## Setup & Configuration

1. Navigate to **Integrations > Storage > Box** and click **Connect Box Enterprise**.
2. Authenticate using OAuth 2.0 or a Box Custom App Service Account.
3. Select target folders for automated ingestion and configure Box AI metadata mapping templates.
4. Test by uploading a sample MSA PDF — GAAPx will ingest the contract and populate the Box metadata card within 15 seconds.
